About Us:
Resources for the Soul was recently founded by Cheryl Weidley. She is the wife of Ken for 37 years, two children, and five grandchildren. Cheryl graduated from Geneva College with a Sociology degree, a member of AACC and IBCC with an emphasis in Biblical Counseling, and graduate of Light University with a Life Coaching degree. She is a lay counselor for her church, has volunteered as a crisis pregnancy counselor, is a church musician, bible study leader, and former music instructor and vocal coach. Her and her husband are active in their local church and community.
Cheryl enjoys time with her family and friends. She is passionate in enabling women to see their value in Christ and help them live victorious lives after tragedy. After years of mentoring young students, walking alongside women in traumatic situations, and caring for her family and aged parents, Cheryl has come to the point in her life where she is called by God to share her experiences, provide spiritual direction, and reach out to women, like yourself, who just need a word of encouragement.
Statement of Faith:
We believe; divinely inspired Word of God, the Trinity; Father, Son,
and Holy Spirit, a personal faith and trust in Jesus Christ who bore our sins and rose again the third day for the forgiveness of sin and promise of
eternal life, the security of eternal life as promised by God in John 14:6, at conversion, the Holy Spirit lives within us to guide, teach, and comfort, the return of Christ at the Rapture of the Church of God, and the reign of our Lord Jesus Christ as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
